Early Intervention and Behavioral Health Integration
The overall focus in this area is on early identification of behavioral health issues and timely intervention via appropriate behavioral health services and supports to children, youth, and young adults and their families, achieved by implementing services and supports for young children and their families, and by integrating behavioral health services into primary care, education, juvenile justice, and other systems and settings in which they function. Our activities in this area are designed to provide practical strategies and tools for early childhood systems of care and for integrating behavioral health into other systems.
